Welcome to Omniverse , a global marketplace built to support, amplify, and connect Black-owned brands across the diaspora. These guidelines exist to keep the marketplace fair, trusted, and sustainable for everyone.
By registering as a vendor on Omniverse, you agree to the following:
1. Vendor Eligibility & Conduct
- Vendors must represent legitimate businesses, creators, or brands.
- All store information (name, contact details, and location) must be accurate and kept up to date.
- Omniverse reserves the right to review, approve, suspend, or remove vendors or products that do not align with our values or guidelines.
2. Products & Listings
- Vendors are responsible for ensuring their products are accurately described, priced fairly, and legally sellable.
- Prohibited, counterfeit, or misleading products are not allowed.
- All products may be reviewed or moderated by Omniverse to maintain marketplace quality.
3. Taxes & Legal Responsibility
- Vendors are solely responsible for collecting, reporting, and remitting any applicable sales taxes, VAT, duties, or other required fees.
- Omniverse Collective does not act as a tax agent on behalf of vendors.
- Vendors are responsible for understanding and complying with the tax laws in their own jurisdictions.
4. Orders, Fulfillment & Customer Service
- Vendors are responsible for fulfilling orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Accurate shipping timelines and fulfillment expectations should be clearly communicated to customers.
- Vendors must respond to customer inquiries in good faith and within a reasonable timeframe.
5. Communication with Customers
- Vendors may communicate freely with customers via the contact information displayed on their store or product pages.
- For the protection of both vendors and customers, all transactions should be completed through Omniverse.market.
- Orders completed outside the platform are not eligible for marketplace protections, dispute assistance, or support.
6. Payments & Withdrawals
- Vendor earnings become eligible for withdrawal only after orders are marked as Completed.
- A minimum balance is required before withdrawal requests can be made.
- Withdrawal timelines and methods may evolve as the platform grows.
7. Refunds, Disputes & Issues
- Vendors are expected to handle refunds, returns, and disputes fairly and professionally.
- Omniverse reserves the right to intervene in disputes if necessary to protect marketplace integrity.
- Repeated unresolved complaints may result in account suspension.
8. Platform Integrity
- Vendors may not intentionally redirect customers away from Omniverse for the purpose of avoiding platform fees.
- Abuse of customer trust, platform features, or community standards may result in removal.
9. Our Commitment
Omniverse Collective is built on trust, visibility, and community. We aim to create real economic opportunity while maintaining a respectful and transparent marketplace.
These guidelines may be updated as the platform evolves. Vendors will be notified of material changes.
